"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

I used to be ^__^;;; I owned all 42 manga in chinese and a bunch of the episodes (in Chinese too) back in the day waaay before it even hit the US. After Funmation mauled the series, I was left with my jaw open in shock. It got really annoying how blinded the US fans were and I couldn't stand it. Besides, as far as I know, it was over and GT wasn't that good when Cartoon Network was still near the beginning of it.
I did fanart for it waaaaaay back then and used this name. Though I haven't done much nowadays, I just kept the name since I couldn't think up anything else to call myself. But good job catching the reference!
The "sai" in kanji means "vegetable" -__-;;;;; Bleh, I didn't write complex chinese back then, so I picked whatever had to do with food.
^-^ Yeah, me and my sister used to be really into it.. in my opinion, the cell saga and the great saiyaman saga were the only good ones... and then all the tournaments were worth watching, but eh. I started out hating DBZ, then my sister dragged me into it. Once I discovered subtitled anime, I just generally stopped watching it on TV. >.> I kinda wish I could see DBZ in the original Japanese version.... then again, I have little enough life as it is, watching all the anime that I do, I don't need to watch a whole other series. ^-^
If I ever had a desire to see GT, it would be to make fun of Pan and see Trunks shirtless. GT Trunks is the only one who ever actually gets down to his trunks. ^-^
But yeah, me an' my sis picked up all the food references... another manga does that: Sorcerer Hunters, a favorite manga of mine (known by the 'elite' *cough*pricks*cough* as Bakaretsu Hunters or something), has chars name Chocolat and Tira Misu, Eclair and Gateau Mocha, Carrot and Marron Glacé (all siblings), and then other character were named after jewels and colors. ^-^ Oh, a note: Sorcerer Hunters the manga is awesome, but don't EVER waste your time with the anime. >.> It sucks. ^-^
